In June 2023, the SIMBA project achieved its fifth milestone – The laboratory cell fabricated from optimized materials meet the performance target. In the past months, the SIMBA partners in WP2 (Lab scale material and process development) were able to manufacture all-solid-state polymer-based sodium-ion batteries at lab-scale with the selected electroactive materials (third milestone), meeting the target of 300 cycles. These results were described and submitted in D2.6 Round robin test with developed electrodes, electrolyte and cell process showing stability > 300 cycles. In this way, achieving SIMBA’s fifth milestone!
